Is there or will there be an addon so Gary's cook book can be used with the latest Jomsocial version? I found an addon in this page but it is for an older version of jomsocial.

Hi rodrigonapa,
as you may have read there is no further development of the cookbook versions for Joomla! 1.5. It will be supported for the lifetime of Joomla! 1.5 regarding bugs and security issues.
Regarding integration to/using other Joomla! extensions we hope on support from other developers.
e.g. integration to JoomSocial/CB, using a system overall comment functionality or a PM system (personal message) for cookbook messages to the administrators. There's a lot of them some free some commercial.
